The polite manner
Al Hamdu Lillah who made this study possible, Al Hamdu Lillah that Muslims still have love in their hearts for Allah and the Noble Qur’aan, though most have lost the way to the words of Allah, placing the studying of the Noble words behind their backs, and AL Hamdu Lillah that some of us keep trying to bring back Qur’aan into the hearts of Muslims, may Allah accept from all of us. And the end of our Dua is: Al Hamdu Lillah Rabbal Aaalamein (Ayah 10:10).
As we have discussed Bismillah so far, and since we took a little break to explain the difference between our Study and what Tafseer and Taaweel are, also answered the question if Qur’aan is from God, now let us come back to our Deep study after this interruption. Please notice at the end of this message I am giving you a wonderful site for many good recitations of the Noble Qur’aan look for it. We said: The first words in Qur’aan are:
Bism millah Al Rahmaan Al Raheim بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Now before we do this, also we need to observe the wish of Allah and His order when He said in Ayah 56:77:
إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ فِي كِتَابٍ مَّكْنُونٍ لَّا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ
“This is a Noble Qur’aan, in a well guarded book from any alterations, should not be touched except by those who are pure”, Now as for those who are not pure who touch Qur’aan, there is nothing worse than disbelieving in Qur’aan itself, then why should we trouble ourselves if they disobey this order as well on top? This order is for the believers, they are not allowed to touch the noble Qur’aan except if they are pure, meaning what? What is purity, to understand purity we need to discuss what makes Believers impure? Any married couple who come together in bed they become impure, to restore purity they need to take a Bath as Allah made this so pleasing and easy as well, just looking at this though we may not understand, but we know there is a great wisdom behind.
Therefore, before reading Qur’aan this requires first to be pure, second we need to seek the help of Allah against the evil of Satan, this way we approach Qur’aan as Allah wants us to do so, as approaching prayers demand Ablution (5:6). Very well, however, before we advance in our study, and as long as we are still at the very door steps of our study, let us pick the manner in which we need to recite Qur’aan with, how we need to be polite before we start reading the best words under the Heavens? When we do things, we need to do them according to the wishes of Allah, and not our wish, Allah comes always first, He is the beginning and the end. How Allah wants us to start reading His words and in what manner, also where is the proof for such? When we read Ayah 16:98 says:
فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
“If/when you recite Qur’aan, seek the help and refuge of Allah from the evil of Satan” by saying: Aoozu Billahi Minal Shaitanil Rajeem, as Allah told us and I made in Red as Allah said. We will share how to read this Ayah Insha Allah at the end of our message today, in the section of how to read Qur’aan in Arabic. Before reading Qur’aan we need to say:
أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الْشَيْطَانِ الْرَجِيْم
So please look for this at the end, past the debate with none Muslims. Therefore, any time you are about to recite the words of Allah from the Noble Qur’aan, or from the heart, always start as Allah wants us to start by saying this Ayah first. The question is why, why Allah ordered this, and why this makes a lot of difference as well? Ok, let us take a trip into the past when Allah created us, and when Satan did not obey Allah when Allah ordered him to bow to Adam SAW, Allah condemned Satan to Hell, Satan Asked Allah to allow him to live till Allah brings all of us back after Resurrection, Allah accepted, then Satan promised Allah that he will corrupt most of us, except those who are shed by the love of Allah, and Allah said 17:63:
قَالَ اذْهَبْ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمْ جَزَاء مَّوْفُورًا
وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُمْ بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِم بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِي الأَمْوَالِ وَالأَوْلادِ وَعِدْهُمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلاَّ غُرُورًا
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلاً
“Allah said: go, all those who follow you from the people, Hell has abundance of place/share for them, stir up as many of them with your whispers, frighten them with your armies and your men, Join them in their seeking for wealth, having children, and make them promises, and what promises Satan makes are false and a waste of time. However, my true worshipers you have no Authority over or have any kind of effect, and they depend on their LORD in such”, then Allah taught us how we can escape the effect of Satan, especially when we read Qur’aan because we need to focus and listen to Allah with all of our hearts. Now, those of us who read between the words can realize, since this Ayah is a powerful arsenal against Satan, why use it only before reciting the words of Allah, why not use it every time you fear the temptation of Satan, what do I mean? Let us continue this next time Insha Allah.

Is Qur’aan from Allah?
Let us pick up where we left this debate. Now, what is the next Geographic mistake this Christian from Egypt thinks it exists in the Noble Qur’aan? Please look:, his alleged mistake is: Earth does not move, he brought Ayah 3:13 that says: He is the one who spread Earth and made in it sinkers/fixers (Mountains). Then he brought Ayah 19:15 that says: and Earth we spread and we placed in it sinkers/fixers (Mountains), and we brought from it everything in balance. This man thinks this is a Geographic mistake, imagine what state this man is in?
Fine, first we need to explain the meanings of the words in Qur’aan, then we need to compare to his false accusation that this means Earth is fixed and does not move, then we need to explain why he made many horrible mistake. Ayah 13:3 says:
وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا وَمِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Let us discuss only the underlined section which relates to his debate against the Noble Qur’aan, this individual thinks when Allah said that He spread the Earth, this means He made it fixed and stable with no motion, is this true? What spreading the Earth has to do anything with the motion and movement of our planet, or what the movement of our planet has to do anything with Geography, my goodness, looks like he is in a rush to attack, he avoid using his brain, if he has one to begin with. However, we need to discuss this?
Though all the planets in the system we live in are round like a Ball, this did not prevent the fact that all are moving, and none is fixed, or stable. However, let us say: out there in the outer space one mass maybe spread and not round in shape, does this lead us to think it should be stable and has no motion, based over what exactly he thinks this way? Is there a rule that says: spread shapes should not have movement, and need to be stable in order to be spread? We all can see his debate is so false, and baseless also expected from any one who attack the book of Allah. In free space any shape can move freely, no matter what shape it takes, however, this individual also missed over another simple fact, when Allah says: and Earth we spread, this is a wonderful indication how Earth is round in shape. If you take any other shape, it should have edges, which means if we try to pass this edge we will fall, is this the case with us? Imagine you have the power to walk all over our planet, do you think you will reach an edge and fall if you try to pass it? No; this is not true, and you will keep on walking simply because round shape is the only shape that gives you such a spread.
Not only Allah says how Earth is round and spread means everywhere, because He said: and Earth we spread, meaning the whole planet Earth, and not a certain space on it. Then this spread applies to the whole surface, also when some may come and say: but what about the mountains, Allah did not wait, did not say: that is it, but He said: and we placed in it fixers/sinkers, which mean mountains. Take the mountains out, you will see Earth so spread all over, no edges, no falling from its surface, and to make things even better, Allah applied Gravity to make everything stay on the surface.
In summery we say, and in an answer to this individual’s false information: when Allah says: and Earth we spread, does not mean He made it fixed and motionless, this individual said: the Geographic mistake in Qur’aan based over two Ayahs (Verses) in Qur’aan say: Earth does not move, and is stable. He said: الأرض ثابته لا تتحرك just because Allah said: and Earth we spread. The whole debate this individual has is false from its basics. The stability of something has nothing to do with Geography, has nothing to do with its shape, Geography deals with how portions of our planet are divided into locations/sections, and how we need to differentiate between each of such things, as History deals with past events humanity went through, this man has a knowledge that is so sad about everything, yet he comes to challenge Allah and His book, no wonder why in his sad state of mind he does such a thing.

فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الْشَيْطَانِ الْرَجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Fine, let us discuss the first lesson about Arabic Qur’aan after this long introduction, we saw the letters, we saw the tones that help, let us now start, and the starting point should be always as Allah ordered it by seeking His help from the evil of Satan.
أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الْشَيْطَانِ الْرَجِيْم
أَعُوذُ: we start with أ and read A like in Apple, not A like in Ape, then we have عـُ some will have a lot of difficulty with, however, did you hear the Noble name of Ummar the Kalif, do you know how it is pronounced with the first letter like this here, AOO, and because of the little ُ on top gives more stress to it, then the two letters read: Aaoo, with little sound missing. Then we have the letter ذ also with a little tone of ُ on top of it, the letter itself sounds like TH in The, This, That, not like TH in Thanks, with the little tone on top make it sound like THU. Now we have: Aaoothu, this is the first word in the Ayah here, next:
بِاللهِ: this word has the name of Allah, and starting with the letter Bi, which means by Allah, let us read it. بـ also has a little dash under it like ِ to make it sound like Bi, and the name of Allah like this: لـ which is the letter L, then the next one which is an L as well has a little ّ which look like small double you in English, and it doubles the sound of the letter it comes on top of, makes L double L. Also has a little َ dash on top to make it sound like La. The name of Allah ends with the letter ـه which is like H in English, and the whole word reads: Billahi. Therefore we have so far: Aaoothu Billahi.
مِنَ: starting with the letter مـ also a little ِ dash under it and this is the letter M making it sound like: Mi. Then we have the letter ن with a little َ dash on top to make it sound like Na. The whole word reads: Mina. Bt will join with the next word and reads: minal.
الْشَيْطَانِ: this is the name of Satan, and starts with ا, something about this A that it is silent, and not pronounced here, most of the time we will see this repeated, and Insha Allah you will get used to it. next comes the letter لـ with a ْ little circle like on top to make it silent, and sounds like: silent L. Then we have the letter شـ with a little َ on top of it, to make it sound like Sha. And we have the letter يـ with a little ْ on top to make it silent E or Ye. We see next the letter ط with a little َ on top to make it sound like TTA. Now please notice we discussed this letter and we said it is not T like in table, but it is T like in Talk, or in stuck, it is a heavy T so please remember this always. Then we have a silent ا: “A” again, and we end we the letter ن with a little ِ at the bottom of it, to make it sound like Ni. The whole word reads like: Al Shaitani. But when joined with the one before reads: Minal Shaitani.
الْرَجِيْم: Again starting with a silent ا also a silent لـ and combine to sound like a silent L. Then we see the letter ر with a little َ on top of it, to make it sound like Ra. Then the letter جـ with a little ِ dash at the bottom of it to make it sound like Gi. And the letter يـ comes with a little ْ on top to silence and make it sound like a silence E or Ye. And finishing with the letter م also silenced to sound like silenced M. Now the whole word reads like: Al Rajeem, when combined with the name of Satan reads: Shaitanil Rajeem. Now let us read the whole Ayah: Aaoothu Billahi Minal Shaitanil Rajeem. I ask Allah to give you the needed help, I wish I can do better for the sake of Allah, I wish if I could my friend. So please, now that you finished this, go back and listen to it being recited again and again, as long as it may sink in you heart for ever Insha Allah and stick.
