Qur’aan Deep Study-13

Allah’s wonderful Mercy

Al Hamdu Lillah, Ya Allah, we know your Mercy is capable of shedding us when we need it come the day; please allow us to be shed by this Mercy when we need it most. Ya Allah, when we stand for questioning, please look at us, one look is more than enough, also is more than what we deserve, please look at us as you promised to do such. And the end of our Dua: Al Hamdu Lillah Rabbal Aaalamein in this life and at the other end.

Al Salaam Aleikum, I was blocked from sending E mails out, please take a note, if you do not hear from me for a long time, you can always find my messages in my group, also on the home page, listed above [or Massadi link below]. The first words in Qur’aan are:

Bismmillah Al Rahmaan Al Raheim   بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Now that we spoke very little about Bism, the first word of Qur’aan, we spoke extremely little about the name: “Allah”, and said how this name is all about worship. Now we will do the next part differently, we will pick up two names instead. I am talking about: الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ, now, and before we speak about those two names, and some of the blessings in them, let me say: both names are derivatives of the act of Mercy.

Anyone looking at the names coming side by side, though both speak about Mercy some may ask: is there a repetition, we say: no, but a clear indication, how? It is obvious if this Mercy is the same, then there was no need to put them side by side as such, one time is more than enough. Therefore, we conclude that putting the names like this indicates a difference, how? We all know Mercy, we know a little about it anyway, how Mercy may be different then? Perhaps in the Quantity, not likely, Allah is just and fair. Perhaps the difference is in the Quality, again not likely in a wonderful loving LORD who created all of us, and loves us all the same. There is something different in this Mercy no doubt, we know that much, however we need to think, where is this difference, and how this Mercy differs nevertheless?

Let me remind all of us about what we said before, the difference is in us, we make this difference, Allah is always the Merciful one, who loves to shed us with His Mercy till we exhaust all of our chances and luck with Him. Ok, let us look at His Mercy today, now, did He say: the Air is available only to those who obey Allah, or He gave it to all of us, and how the non believers receive equal share to breath and stay well? Apply this to every blessing Allah gave us, be it the water, the mountains, the Heavens above, and the amazing thing is, sometimes the non believers enjoy doubles which makes us wonder what in Heaven is going on? Please my friend; please remember, non believers have temporary pleasure, they have no share in that ends shall never.

Let non believers enjoy this life to its best, they have no share in Paradise, this life ends so fast, that one knows no such. Fine, therefore, when we look in this life today, the Mercy of Allah is over every one, however, even if we look at those who believe in the right faith they were not forced to do such, those who do not believe in Allah and Islam are not doing this against their wishes either. Following the only true faith today is a gift for those who accept gifts, it is not something hidden inside a safe and only few have the secret combination. Therefore, and again we say: looks like Mercy in this life is divided equally, we all are shed with this wonderful kind love from Allah, no exceptions, then this may lead us to search somewhere else, since this life does not satisfy.

How about the Hereafter, are we all under the Mercy of Allah? Now, most of our lives we hear good news and bad ones, this time is one of those when bad news must be spoken, perhaps, just perhaps, and in the hope some may listen, and come to understand: my fiend, this life is so valuable, so important to be spent in the right manner, if you waste your time in offending Allah today, you will loose His Mercy come the day, please wake up. My friend, do not exhaust your chances today, please enjoy the Mercy Allah shed you with, however, do not be fooled ever, not all things are fee, this Mercy today has a price as well, if you abuse it, then you loose the next one, which we need so bad, the one that you need more than any other. Please come to worship Allah today, thank Him for His Mercy in this life time, also pay the price, for if you pay your bills now, come the day you will be debt free, and in Paradise.

Yes, one look at how this name came twice side by side is a clear indication that Mercy has two major types, one is given today for a price, another is given come the day as a result, what do we mean by such? The result we are talking about is that which comes out of what you have done in this lifetime, how you prepared for the Hereafter. Those who thank Allah today by obedience, and good worship, they deserve His Mercy when Mercy is needed so bad. Please be smart, please do not take things for granted thinking: you need to do nothing, all things will come free every time as you had them free this time. Is Qur’aan from Allah?

Al Salaam Aleikum, we started responding to couple of messages I received, let us pick the first, and leave the second till another time, the first one said: So why do Muslims attack and murder non believers? And why do Muslims continue the cycle of death and hate?

You asked: why do Muslims attack and murder non believers? As we said before: this teaching is not found in the Noble Qur’aan, but found in the Judeo-Christian books, also all other beliefs apart from Islam, like II Chronicles 15:13. We also said: when they bring an Ayah from Qur’aan, first we need to pay attention to the number, we need to know what came before reaching this Ayah, what came before explains what this Ayah says, it is not like few words found on the sand of a huge desert, but words found in a book, which has that which precedes, and that which follows. Now, let us take this example I picked up, Ayah 2:191 that says:

“kill them everywhere you find them, throw them out from where they threw you, temptations are worse than murder itself, do not fight them at the Holy Masjid of Mekkah except if they fight you there, and if they fight you there, kill them, this is the punishment for the aggressors”. Can we all see how dangerous is the war they lead against us, if you give this to any light head, who has no knowledge of what Allah says, can you imagine the sad impact/result? What I need to do to wake you up, what does it take to make you come to help to spread this knowledge?

Let us discuss this, because non Muslims love to bring this Ayah as a proof that Qur’aan preaches evil. Do I need to take you back through 190 Ayahs (verses) that came before this one, no, I will take you only one step back, to Ayah 190, what Ayah 190 says?

And fight for the sake of Allah those who fight you, but do not commit any aggressions, Allah hates Aggressors”. Please read carefully, see the wonderful words of Allah in what Satan Advocates wish to make sound bad. Here is one of the major and most important rules Allah placed for Muslims who want to fight, what is that rule? Fight for the sake of Allah, why? If fighting is done for the sake of man, then all the evil temptations will come into the picture, such as: personal revenge, personal ego, showing of power, or whatever else, the reasons are more than what we can include in this study, but we just gave some leads.

If fighting is done for the sake of Allah, then all our evil temptations will cease to force us to fight with hate, we will fight with love instead, and in obedience, because we are still looking how wars should be conducted Allah’s ways, not man’s evil ways. When we Muslims enter in a fight, we need to remove our human features, we need to become Heavenly, full with love for our attackers, and fight them as needed, what is the meaning of such? As long as we can prevent them from hurting us, then no need for us to hurt them, as long as we can prevent harm to those around us, no need to make this war get out of hand, and out of control, try to minimize the effect of this war as much as possible, because wars bring nothing but harm every which way we look at things. We will discuss all what we mentioned here Insha Allah, however, rule number one, we Muslims fight when we are pushed to it, when we fight we do this for the sake of Allah to remove all of our human evil temptations, this feature is not found in non Muslims, this is why when they fight, they fight with evil that has no equal, and they destroy everything as much as possible, their wars are against Allah, not for the sake of Allah, this is why we are the best nation given to mankind. Even when we fight, we do so within rules, and with love.

Please pay attention to the next words; this is extremely important, extremely dangerous as well. Allah says: fight for the sake of Allah THOSE WHO FIGHT YOU. Ya Allah, why non Muslims are in such a sad state of mind, of course, because Muslims are sleeping, and not reaching out to non Muslims with this information. Therefore, the second thing we see here is: fight those who fight you, a clear statement of self defense, and self defense is the least those under attack have the right of doing, now the non Muslims do not like us to defend ourselves, should we listen to them, or should we listen to the only One who is worthwhile our hearing and our obedience and attention?

Therefore, we have a license and a permission from Allah to fight, how? Fight only those who fight you, what about those who do not fight us, it is obvious, Allah did not give us permission to fight them, and any fighting done against the words of Allah is evil. Again, when fighting becomes a must, it should be done with love and care, should be done for the sake of Allah, and should be done in self defense, then what our friend said that Muslims kill non Muslims and murder them, then this is done against the orders of Allah, no doubt about this, we still have a lot to cover in this Ayah we brought as an example, so please keep reading. The just war need to have just good reasons, not the reasoning of Satan as the West done to Afghanistan and Iraqi, also before at Palestine, the good reason is to save our lives from direct attack, not imagine we are under attack and we need to protect the nothing as Bush is doing. Bush is seeking to protect the US, since he started, did anyone attack the US, then this Bush was lying. This lying caused us two Muslims countries that he destroyed badly, also caused us the destruction that took over Lebanon as well, and some day perhaps he will be brought to answer for his crimes at the court of justice.
